I am doing research within the area of mobile applications and technologies with my main research interest being personal information/content management. I am interested in applications of mobile technologies especially applied in areas, such as, information management tools, improved visualization, navigation and management of information on mobile devices, tagging systems, context- and location-aware applications, and personalized user interfaces/experiences. This includes aspects of human computer interaction, mobile interaction design and usability, as well as methodologies for rapid mobile application prototyping.

Most of my research and teaching activities make extensive use of the facilities at Mobile Informatics Lab our laboratory for mobile application development at the Cognitive Systems Section at DTU Informatics.

I am involved in the master's program in Digital Media Engineering offered at DTU Informatics teaching master's level courses including:

• 02827 Mobile application prototype development

• 02815 Web 2.0 and mobile interaction

• 02266 User Experience Engineering

Moreover, I supervise a number of master's thesis projects, which mostly involve aspects of mobile application developments, mobile interfaces and usability issues. Please drop me an email if you have interest in joining the lab for a master's thesis project.

I hold a Ph.D. degree from Technical University of Denmark. My Ph.D. thesis studies personal information management and the support of it in interactive systems. My master's degree (cand. scient.) in computer science I received from the Department of Computer Science, University of Copenhagen and my minor subject in information psychology (human computer interaction and cognitive psychology) from Department of Psychology, University of Copenhagen.
